A graduate of UCLan’s Acting course, Tom has worked as a professional actor since 2013 with screen credits including BBC Drama ‘Our Zoo’, TV soaps ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Doctors’ as well as multiple commercials. He recently won an award for Best Actor in the short film ‘Once Upon a Time in England’ and has featured in several other short films. On stage he appeared in The Kenny Wax Production ‘Tom, Dick & Harry’ at the New Vic and Alexandra Palace; in ‘Frankenstein’ at The Royal Exchange; various performances at Oldham Coliseum and Hope Mill Theatre; in touring childrens theatre shows with Forest Tribe and Fidget Theatre and in an ACE funded national studio tour with his with own devising theatre company.
Tom has worked with a huge range of participants as a workshop facilitator including: children aged 3-18, higher education students, young people and adults with learning disabilities and many other community participants. He specialises in the physical training system Biomechanics, Clowning and acting for stage and camera and has worked with companies such as the Royal Exchange, Oldham Coliseum and University of Central Lancashire.
Tom has directed several shorts at showcases with Up ‘Ere Productions, The College of Deviants and Manchester ADP, lead and directed devising processes with his own company Dapertutto, directed many shows with young people and worked as assistant director on several occasions
