First Steps Into Music

Music is a beautiful and universal method of communication and expression and an incredible way to have fun! And at the Early Years stage, music can help children to develop those communication and linguistic skills through play and experimentation.

Funded by Youth Music and in partnership with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH), this project will see parents with children aged 0-4 take part in free weekly pressure-free music sessions, introducing them to the joys of making music.

Do you live in the Heywood area and have a child under 4? Come along and join us in a weekly 30 minute music session, where we will help introduce you and your child to music making!

No experience necessary. Just come along and have fun!

First Steps into Music is available in term-time at 4 community centres in the Rochdale Borough of Heywood. To register for our classes, click on the link below.
