At Oldham Hulme Grammar School we offer weekly (term-time) group LAMDA (acting) lessons.
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) offer internationally recognised qualifications, which are great for college and job applications, but also, at the higher grades, carry UCAS points, for University applications.
Our lessons encourage expression, increased confidence, better communication skills, great articulation and creative thinking – all skills that are useful in many, many areas of life, as well as on stage. But, most importantly, our lessons are fun! A chance to break away from the curriculum and enjoy some creative time.
Wild Things has a 100% LAMDA pass rate since 2010.
Lessons take place in school at the following times:
Nursery/Reception: Mondays 12.30–1
Year 1/2: Tuesdays 12–12.30
Year 3/4: Tuesdays 3.45–4.30
Year 5/6: Mondays 3.45–4.30
Year 7-11: Tuesdays 12.40–1.25
